The 2025.12.1 release brings a mix of visual improvements, workflow enhancements, and one of the biggest performance upgrades in FTPie so far. The focus of this update is clarity, speed, and smoother everyday usage.
New dashboard view
FTPie now features a redesigned dashboard where storages are displayed as clean, informative tiles. Used and free space is much easier to read, making it simple to see the state of all your storages at a glance.
Favorite folders
You can now pin and unpin folders for quick access. Favorite folders appear directly in the left-side tree view, so your most-used locations are always within reach.
Improved navigation and interaction
Several UX improvements make everyday file operations faster and more intuitive.
- New context menu with Copy, Cut, Rename, Delete placed at the top, similar to Windows 11.
- Storages can now be reordered, allowing frequently used connections to stay on top.
Audio, OneDrive, and performance
- Expanded support for additional audio file formats in the built-in audio player.
- Fixed OneDrive authentication for newly created Microsoft accounts.
-
Significant performance improvements across the entire app, including a full migration
from
WebRequesttoHttpClient.
This release also includes many smaller improvements and bug fixes that make FTPie feel faster, cleaner, and more reliable overall.
Thanks for using FTPie.
