Using FTPie Pro in a company

There is no separate "business edition" for ordinary company use. Pro is the product - these are the terms that matter to a buyer rather than a user.

Commercial use included

Free is personal use only. Every paid plan covers use at work, with no separate licence to buy.

More than three devices

Pro covers three per licence. Beyond that we quote per seat - more seats, lower price each.

Invoices, POs and VAT

Checkout takes a VAT or tax ID and issues a proper invoice. Card handling is Stripe's - we never see it.

A lifetime licence, over time

What "2 years of updates" actually means after year two.

A renewal costs 50% of what you originally paid and buys another two years - $49.50 on a $99 licence. That is half of your purchase price, not half of the list price at the time, so it never rises even as our list price does.

In design

FTPie Enterprise

Free and Pro are the product. Enterprise is how a company governs it.

A Pro licence is a key: it works, but it is anonymous and copyable, and the only way to take it back is to reset everybody. Fine for one person, wrong for a company. Enterprise replaces the shared key with something an administrator actually runs.

Named seats

Every licence belongs to a person, not to a key passed around in chat.

Assign and revoke

Cut one person's access without touching anyone else's, and reassign the seat.

Issue licences yourself

Your administrator adds and hands out seats. No email to us, no waiting on our timezone.

Pre-configured connections

Assign the right servers and storage per person or team, so nobody copies credentials by hand.

Runs on your infrastructure

The administration panel lives inside your network, not ours.

When? We are designing this with a small number of customers and will settle scope and timing with them at the end of this year. There is no ship date yet, and we would rather tell you that than invent one. If you want a say in what gets built first, the form below is how you get it.
